WorkCover Approved White Card Courses

If you plan on working on a construction site in Queensland then you'll need to pick up a WorkCover approved White Card from a recognised training provider.

What's the full name for White Card?

White card is nationally accredited as CPCCOHS1001A Work safely in the construction industry.

Where can I take my White Card course?

White Card courses completed in Queensland are valid across Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia and the Northern Territory

When do I need to have my White Card certificate?

You need to get your white card certificate prior to entering a construction site in Queensland. More information can be found on www.worksafe.qld.gov.au

How long does the White Card course take?

I've just moved to Queensland, is my interstate White Card valid?

Yes. However, you should note that if you have obtained a now out-dated NSW 'Green Card' then this is no longer valid (anywhere) and you will need to update to a White Card.

What's the difference between a White Card and a Blue Card?

Blue Cards issued in Queensland are simply an older version of White Cards. They are still valid in Queensland and most other states.

I've lost my White Card, what do I do?
